Ingredients :
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Pack Taco Seasoning Mix
1/2 tsp salt
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
1 14.5-oz Mexican-style diced tomatoes. Undrained 4 to 6 cups
1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Shredded lettuce
Sliced green onions
Cut green, yellow or red bell peppers
Optional molded taco shell
How To :
Cook ground beef in crumbles over medium heat for about 8-10 mins or until it is cooked through. For the last 2 minutes of cooking, you can add yellow onion. As needed, drain excess grease.
Next, mix in the seasoning mix. Mix in the tomatoes, and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Place lettuce on four plates or Bowl Shells. Add the beef mixture to each plate. Then sprinkle the beef mixture on top.
